Kindred Flow maps family history through time.

Kindred Flow is a genealogy viewer produced by Parthenian, LLC as part of the Kindred series of products. It turns family-tree data into an interactive map and timeline so you can see where people lived, how families moved, and how branches relate across places and generations.

You can load GEDCOM family-tree files, select one or more trees, animate migration over time, inspect people and clusters, ask the Kindred AI genealogist questions, and share trees with other signed-in users.

On mobile, trees are loaded only when you choose them. To load your own family tree data and share it with friends, use the desktop app and sign in. Signing in creates an account record of the trees you own and the trees shared with you. You can save loaded family tree data on Kindred servers for 7 days free of charge; shared tree data is stored on Kindred servers, and you may delete or update it at any time.

How to use Kindred Flow

The map shows each person as a moving dot over their lifetime
Press the play icon to animate births, deaths & migrations through time
Use the Options tab to group by lineage, gender, or geography
Use the Options tab to focus on blood relatives, ancestors, men, or women
Click any dot to select that person and see their events in the right panel
Type a name in the home person box to re-center the tree on someone else
Save your Anthropic key or sign in as VIP to unlock AI chat. Keys are NOT stored on Kindred servers; they are only used locally to communicate with your LLM.
