Kindred Flow is a genealogy viewer produced by Parthenian, LLC as part of the Kindred series of products. It turns family-tree data into an interactive map and timeline so you can see where people lived, how families moved, and how branches relate across places and generations.
You can load GEDCOM family-tree files, select one or more trees, animate migration over time, inspect people and clusters, ask the Kindred AI genealogist questions, and share trees with other signed-in users.
On mobile, the DEMO tree loads automatically. To load your own family tree data and share it with friends, use the desktop app and sign in. Signing in creates an account record of the trees you own and the trees shared with you. You can save loaded family tree data on Kindred servers for 7 days free of charge; shared tree data is stored on Kindred servers, and you may delete or update it at any time.

Before using Kindred Flow
Kindred Flow is provided by Parthenian, LLC for exploratory genealogy visualization. You must accept these terms to continue.
Use at your own risk
The service, maps, visualizations, geocoding, AI responses, and data-quality workarounds are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Genealogy records can be incomplete, incorrect, ambiguous, or private. AI responses can be wrong.
No professional advice
Kindred Flow does not provide legal, medical, financial, historical-certification, or professional genealogy advice. You are responsible for independently verifying any conclusion before relying on it.
Your data and permissions
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload, store, process, and share any family-tree data you provide. Shared or saved tree data is stored on Kindred servers while it is available to you or people you share it with, subject to the app's retention controls.
Privacy of living people
You should not upload or share sensitive information about living people unless you have appropriate permission. The public DEMO tree anonymizes living people for privacy.
Third-party services
The app may use third-party services for authentication, hosting, geocoding, maps, issue reporting, email delivery, and AI. Their services may fail, change, or process data under their own terms.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parthenian, LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or data-loss damages, or for decisions made from app output.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold harmless Parthenian, LLC from claims arising from your uploaded data, your sharing choices, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these terms.
Effective May 3, 2026. If you do not agree, do not use Kindred Flow. These terms do not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Before you upload a tree
Kindred Flow loads your family tree into browser memory so you can explore it on the map and timeline.
If you are signed in and save the tree, Kindred stores a server copy for 7 days free of charge. Saved trees are associated with your account and can be updated by uploading a tree with the same name.
On desktop, the Trees panel lets you name saved trees and share them with specific people by email. Shared data is stored on Kindred servers while it is available to those people.
